Most people in Kabale contribute money from January to December. They make groups such that they can raise huge amounts of money.
They buy bulls which they normally slaughter on 24th of December. Men slaughter while their wives are preparing matooke, rice and Irish potatoes to eat with the meat.

After eating from the place they are slaughtering from they share meat equally to take it home.
