Sweet potatoes growing at Proud Uganda

Proud Uganda deals with children with intellectual disabilities, mostly it teaches them functional curriculum.

Gardening is one of the productive activities done at Proud Uganda. We garden and use food from the garden to feed the children. In the future we also can harvest sweet potatoes or vegetables from the garden and prepare them for customers of the community canteen (commercial activities).

The sweet potatoes yield well in the PROUD Uganda garden and children feed on them. The children enjoy eating them as almost every family depend much on the sweet potatoes in Kabale. Sweet potatoes is one of the staple foods in Kabale. Pritty, one of the students, likes sweet potatoes more than every food.
